Cityscape after a storm
A storm moved into and out of the Bay Area over the past 24 hours dumping a moderate amount of rain. By the time I left work for my commute home the roads were dry. I figured it might be … Continue reading
Motel appurtenances
Things have gotten busy of late, and the band is preparing to go out on a 10 day tour, so I’ve been lax with my daily photo stops. Excuses, excuses…. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago I scored a copy … Continue reading
Neighbors lights at night
Neighbors. In my immediate vicinity, both of the two closest ones like strong, harsh night lighting and more often than not forget to turn them off. Drives me crazy because I like going out into my yard at night to … Continue reading

Here’s a frame of my home desk to the left of my monitor. That’s my wife, Maggie, in the photos. The bigger image was part of the 2011 Accordion Babes calendar. The beer bottles are all from the local Lagunitas … Continue reading
Overhead abstract
One of the best features of the Canon G11 is its articulating LCD screen. Here’s an overhead shot of our patio table I took this afternoon. With the camera held at arm’s length directly over the center of the table, … Continue reading
Early plum blossoms
Most everything is blooming early this year because of the very warm winter we’re having here in the San Francisco Bay Area. The blossoms on the plum trees across the street from my house are well ahead of schedule. iPhone/Hipstamatic … Continue reading
