This blog got a facelift

I have been thinking about creating a new photography blog for some time. This update is not it. What I did here was switch from my much altered, out-of-the-box, WordPress “Twenty Ten” theme to “Twenty Fourteen”. The process was an exercise, and a refresher course, in tweaking themes efficiently.

I used a crop of the following image for the fall 2014 header:

Saguenay Fjord

The Saguenay Fjord is a marvel, but its shoreline is only accessible by car at a few places along its length. One place is Sainte-Rose-du-Nord. The photos in yesterday’s post were taken while looking back towards the village from the small pier at the end of the main road. The vantage of this shot is from the end of the pier looking out towards the fjord’s expanse.
